Steam Deck verified?
It's supposedly verified, but as soon as I start a race i get a Windows dialog saying "Fatal error! OK". Also I got the achievement for completing the tutorial just by starting the game, no tutorial in sight...

It seems that a recent patch broke the game on the steam deck. I can verify that it worked perfectly a few days ago. I'm not sure exactly when they patched it.

Broken on Steam Deck. Game hits a fatal error when you try to load a quickrace car.

same. it shows fatal error when loading screen stuck at 24%. i've tried to uninstall and reinstall again, but nothing happen. i'm steam deck user too.

ugh, can the devs stop it with the compression, ffs... a 32MB update previously needed to patch a 23GB file, which took forever on the Deck... now a 25MB patch does the same...

I have a gigabit connection - it's literally faster to redownload the entire game from scratch!!!

Games that follow this dumb fad of giant archives annoy me...

some ue4 games requires to patch whole .pak file. You have to understand the issues with patching with ue4 engine, can cause a destructive error which would require a reinstall. You can google for more information if you want. But yes a shame this game is not Steamdeck verified anymore hope they can change that to verify if it's working again
