Got a 25+GB update. Who knows for what. Can't find any info...

Same issue, a huge patch and now game is not playable anymore. I have an error message when loading a circuit at 21%. I have the following message : "The UE4-hotwheels Game has crashed and will close"

Is there a way to reinstall the game in a version prior to the latest patch when the game ran fine ? No since I see no beta available. Let's ask Steam to give money back... ;-) Seriously how do the editors dare to make a game unusable ? If I have to reinstall the game it needs now 26 GB, is it normal ?

On steam deck is "Fatal error" after 20-30% while loading any race (city rumble / quick). Tried reinstall and use dx11 but still the same problem :/

I also have the error when loading a track but I noticed that the game also crashes with the same "Fatal error" when trying to pick a car with custom livery for whatever reason, even trying to view any custom liveries just gives a error. I tried to "Verify the file integration" but that doesn't help.

FWIW it was a 32MB patch that patched the 25GB install, not a 25GB download.

Fatal Error for me too. Won't load a map past 24%.

Same here, The game crashes around 25% loading. I hope they fix it soon
