Split screen on Steam Deck

Hi
I wanted to play split screen on my steam deck connected to my TV-screen via docking Station and 2 Controllers (XBOX & Steam Controller). After Pressing the correct Button on both controllers and the game showing that both controllers/players are ready...nothing happens and the game seems to freeze, no control input possible and the game has to be restarted via Steam bib...and suggestions/help?

Not really...I made it few times working, not sure how exactly to be honest. After starting the menu I skipped few times Back to the Steam Home and clicking in the controller settings. But it does not work 100% each time, so I am unsure...

hello, i had the same issue today, after i select the 2 controller the game not go ahead. in single player it works. the problem is only with the split sreen

I used proton-GE and it worked. Had the same problem initially.

Works for my selecting en Deck Proton Experimental. Good luck!

Proton experimental worked for me as well. Gear icon properties force compatibility and proton experimental should be chosen.
