Thing is they even announced it in their events bit and if you are following them it showed yo in your library as news but no goty edition :).
It is now but when they announced it in their news feed it did not appear on the shop for at least a couple of days.
Racing seasons ?, are they replayable ?.
They were Battle Passes you had to "grind" 50 levels for and got 6 cars according to a specific theme if you paid 6 Euros to unlock the access to grind these cars.
There were 4 Racing Seasons total, that lasted a couple months each so that amounted to about 24 cars that are not in the GOTY edition of the game.
The Racing Seasons are probably not coming back and you can't "replay" them, no.
Maybe they will eventually bring those 24 cars back as a DLC pack or something but licensing might be an issue so I wouldn't get my hopes too high...
"Hot Wheels Unleashed" is one of those games you had to start playing Year One, Day One to get all content for
Well, I mean, they're not cosmetics though.
Each of this car is its own thing with its own stats.
But even then, if you buy the base game, you have about 80 to 85 vehicles to play with (64 OG vehicles + about 15 free DLCs cars) and if you go for the GOTY, there's like 150 to 160+ vehicles.
That's AMPLE choice to play with imo ;-)
But if there is cars i can no longer obtain im out, the biggest mistake for any game seasonal stuff that is no longer obtainable is a big no no for a collector.
I mean, we're talking about a DIGITAL game that's mainly a RACING game.
I'm not exactly sure how "being a collector" sets itself in the equation (there nothing IN THE GAME where you can organise your collection of cars and watch it at leisure, except the place where you choose which car you want to pick for the next race or session but there's nothing like a glass shelf to look at the cars) but, heh, you do you
HA
Nah man it is just me, if there is a cosmetic in a game i can no longer obtain i just wont play it, it's like an O.C.D thing, if i see it on the track and cant get it it will just eat away at me lol, purely a personal mental thing.
