Any plans on fixing the "Fatal Error" bug?
Since the Oct. 13 update the game crashes before getting to the main menu. I was wondering if the devs are aware of this issue or have any plans to patch it?

I have same issue now. Played for something like 7 plus hours, and now fatal error. Shame it has been like this for a full week now and still no fix.

Go under the games properties-general disable either Steam-Overlay or enter -dx11 as launch option parameter down below in the text field, doing either so will get rid of the fatal error, it seems to appeared after the major updates of last week and this week for some.

I have sent a support ticket, I was told "the Devs know about the problem and the problem is being worked on" that was before the first patch. the problem has been in the game from day one.
i spent 90 bucks and im supposed to have 3 new cars today instead fatal error crash still . they got payed who cares about the game right? games garbage

I have sent a message to epic games as the game uses UE4, to see if they can help or know about the problem and maybe get Milestone to fix the problem quicker.

Epic Games Player Support,

"We haven't had any reported issue with this game, but it might be different for Steam. I need to ask you to reach out to Steam since it is an issue happening within the Steam launcher."

It looks like it is a Steam problem maybe files missing or not being install?

Disabling Steam overlay got it running for me again! The dx11 fix only worked until the last update, then the game started crashing again. Glad I found another fix!

No problem, before the last updates this week and last week, i hadn't to use any attempt of a fix, the game run perfect from starting the game, no issues for almost 2 weeks. Then out of nowhere after the last 2 patches it began to occure, verifying the files didn't helped after all, also updating the system softwares like Runtime services and updating hardware drivers for the graphic card, will not help any further for me, so i needed to use one of the two workarounds up until now. Really weird and curious, also its not clear if its a problem from Steams side or the game itself, due of wrong build options, idk for sure could be anything.

This patch is so f*cking buggy, First all the liveries die and now this. But yes, Disabling the steam overlay does the trick. Thanks boss.
