Such a drought of great arcade games with 4-player coop....
I think legacy DirectInput systems had theoretical support for up to something like 32 controllers at once! (so consoles are actually why PCs now support fewer controllers)
It's 2021, we can connect to our televisions using the Steam Link device or Steam app Integration, or connect HDMI wired directly.
Personally I have an UltraWide 21:9 monitor that has ample space for 4-player coop with multiple controllers locally USB, Bluetooth or the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Xbox wireless dongle.
More should support 8P though for on bigger TVs - the usual configuration that works is a 3x3 grid with the center one being the shared track map, and since previous such attempts were for consoles with a hard 4 controller limit, it similarly also needs to be designed so separate camera controls aren't needed - then you can have 2P per controller (viable for most twinstick controllers, but this is where designs like the Wii were great with their split controller designs)
Gimme, I have a couple. I just like to know ur input.
