Interesting how you come here with your guffed up ignorance. Tell me if not cut content, how is it that they are going to be releasing new vehicles/ tracks every month but in that same month they going to be able to test and balance every single piece of dlc content, answer is simple, its cut content.
Also it's a sorry sight that you lie to yourself and are convince that the predatory practices is a good thing (FYI it's not), those of us that vote with our wallets and don't support AAA greed know better. It might be wise for you to also learn a thing or two about the AAA industry and how they take advantage of people like you.
Game is $50
3 season passes (im ok with dlc so this wouldn't be terrible if they just included all 3 in the edition that people are paying $80+ for)
Battle passes, this is the main problem. Why in all hell, would you add a battle pass to a game that is already $50 and has dlc ? oh thats right its because "give me more money". This is where the cut content accusations are coming in. This crap was either withheld from the game or withheld from the dlc. one of the 2. No reason to have a battlepass in a premium game with premium dlc.
Its straight bs.
Also you don't have to come in here calling people names. Be a adult.
if because of the battle pass this game should be free to play then instead of us having 66 cars we will get 5 and you buy the rest or heavily grind to unlock them and most of the games content would be removed to sell back to you $10 per car pay to upgrade ect.
everything milestone said will be in the game at launch is here, 66 cars 6 environments 40+ tracks 2 player split screen 12 player online and a livery editor.
Let's be honest, this game is very simple and cheap to make.
A couple closed, small environments which can be re-used for multiple tracks.
All tracks consist of the same building blocks, which makes the cost of creating new tracks very small compared to other racing games.
All vehicles are based on existing models, which cuts the costs a lot.
I totally see this game going on discount very quickly because people won't want to pay full price for a simple racing game.
I would be interested to see what is happening on the discord, do you have screen shots of comments....Devs are probably getting put through the ringer for their unsavory and greedy choices.
So in general people on the discord are pretty civilized actually lol

Looking at a real F2P race game: Rocket League. You get a rocket pass that lasts several months and from time to time you get a car pack dlc with a bunch of extra's. This is a F2P game! And really gives you good value for your money.
Now let's look at a Pay2Play racing game: Forza Horizon. Getting the Ultimate edition here, for the same amount of money you get extra cars, an unlimited VIP pass getting you many extra's , a carpass with 42 extra cars over the multiple 100's of cars already in the game, a welcome pack AND two expansions. And no ingame event has to be unlocked by using real money. And let's not even discuss the difference between the amount of quality and detail went in the cars and environment, etc of both games.
Also a reason my Ultimate Hotwheels preorder got deleted and the money shifted to FH5 Premium preorder.
They are and good these days, the point is that they are extremely selfish and arrogant about the DLC issue. The game is demonstrating many ways to get money from the consumer on a game that you have to pay to play (even more that I'm from Brazil and I paid 110 R$ for the base game) to get the news that for me to have more content in the game I have to pay more.
They defend certain/most of the attitudes they are having and when I went to debate this and demonstrate some ideas to them, they simply pressured me (I was using a translator), they seemed to distort what I was saying, forcing me to change the tab to go to the translator ; copy and paste what I was saying and when I did that, they already changed the subject or distorted another topic I was saying, thus making me have to be quick translating and pushing me even more.
It's so selfish, they just said to me: It doesn't matter, wait for a discount. OF COURSE, WAIT FOR DISCOUNT, EVEN WHY YOU'RE NOT IN BRAZIL WHERE A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CONSOLE IS ALREADY EXPENSIVE, THE BASE GAME IS EXPENSIVE AND I WILL STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR MORE CONTENT AAAAAAAAA
That's really messed up, such arrogant behavior from devs only shows what type of head space their in, which is to empty peoples wallets through misdirection and a thing called nostalgia
There are so many games coming out in September that I would rather save my wallet benjamins for games that respect the customer, instead of milking them.
there are no devs there, it's just the members speculating
Oh okay I automatically assumed you were talking about the devs, well that is just as bad that the community is acting like that. Means that its going to be a toxic place and that for most part (not all) those willing to hand over their money to this game already participate and support the AAA industry and their practices.
Note that Rocket League had the lootcrate seasons as well when the game was a paid game.
