Is there cross-platform between Steam and Epic?
The game is cheaper for me on Epic, will i still be able to play online with others on Steam?

I mean, it's PC in the end. Unless it's a game exclusive from either Epic or Valve.

No because there is not a friend list inside the game.

You can't invite them but with luck matched up in a Quick Race. They seem to connect to same servers, distributed for PC users only. But the entire game itself is not fully cross-platform compatable to allow crossplay and crossprogression.
