Is there any possibility that we get the android ad-free version as well when purchasing the pc version?
e.g. by using the melvor cloud feature to create an account for pc, and when logging in with that account to the free android version it auto-removes adds and "upgrades" the game to the paid android version?

If this was actually possible to do, I would have done it by now.
Unfortunately, no matter what, you are required to purchase it on different platforms due to Steam / Apple / Google Play not talking to each other.
The purchases on all platforms are gated by their respective app stores. There is no way for me to tell Google that you bought it on Steam and allow you to then bypass their payment system to download the ad free version.
Unfortunately linking it to the Melvor Cloud does nothing, as you still need to get through Google's payment system to even access it (as the ads are integrated with the app itself)

Include a .apk file with the game's purchase through Steam, with instruction on how to install the game as well as requiring a linked account for ownership verification.
Well here it says you get Premium if you buy on steam - I myself can confirm that for at least the iOS version.
Seems the FAQ is outdated then.
So you didn't have to pay for the IOS version?
You don't have to deal with ads?
Supposedly, if you bought on Steam and signed on to it with Melvor Cloud, then it should have linked your "premium" Steam account to the cloud account. When you load up the mobile version and login using the same Melvor Cloud account you used for Steam then it will give you the "premium" mobile version.
* The announcement in game's Discord as reference: https://discord.com/channels/625838709203271680/625855583550963713/901315356780552282
100% this
I bought it here, logged in on android phone app and it detected my premium version, you just need to be logging in with the same account.
That’s correct. I never paid for the iOS application and I don’t have any ads within it.
IIRC, with the Steam version open - you need to login to your Melvor cloud account (or create one). This will link the Steam purchase to the cloud account. Then on mobile, you just need to login to the cloud account that you created+linked.
However, this issue may also sometimes happen temporarily if you opened the mobile version of the Melvor app while Steam is down (or under maintenance) - happens every middle of the week.
I also tried export from Steam and import when in Android. The game data transferred successfully, but in Android Melvor, it still shows as "Demo version".
If you have further issues, then I believe there's a support channel in the game's official Discord server. IIRC, the channel name was something like "#purchase-issues". The devs do take note and respond there, afaik.
