Sadly, I missed the Sabbat ending on my first and second playthrough, because I didn't know how to go about it.
1st Playthrough, I missed it by accident and ended up becoming the new Seneshal. Played a Nosferatu Warrior.
2nd Playthrough, I missed it because I didn't form an alliance that revealed Aurendel's location before Chapter 10. Somehow got roped into joining the Anarchs. Played a Toreador Socialite
Gonna see if I have better luck the 3rd time around. But can't decide if I want to be a Malkavian, or a Ventrue.
Finally managed to get it on both a Nosferatu and Lasombra playthrough.
This is my 6th run of the game now, finally doing Malkavian.
Though I will say that I was disappointed there weren't any missions associated with joining the Sabbat, unlike the Camarilla or Anarchs. The guide section explicitly said "prepare to get evil," but you don't actually do anything evil.
Heck, you don't even perform your vaulderie on screen. It just time skips to later, when you're marching off to war.
They did, and I hate them for it. There are a great many reasons why I hate 5th edition, but axing the Sabbat is definitely near the top of my list.
I had pretty much given up hope that we would ever see Sabbat as an option in 5th edition. So when I found out the DLC allows you to join them, I was quite pleased.
