Code Arcturus v1.2.0 Patch live

Hi everyone! I'm proud to release the new patch for Code Arcturus that includes some optimizations and a new game mode for speedrun lovers.

New Game Mode: All levels Speedrun

After you clear the game, you'll get the option to start a new speedrun from the main menu. This will start you off on level 1 with a timer, and will continue to the end of the game.
In this game mode checkpoints are disabled. If you die, you start at the beginning of the level you're currently on, but the timer doesn't reset. Time ends after defeating the final boss.

Technical improvements

Unity engine updated to 2020.3 LTS
Some minor engine optimizations and stability improvements

much too hard!!!!

Dude your game we take no pleasure in it. I got to level 6 and now I give up. What's this insect re spawn. I died at least 100 times on this internship. Your game is even more difficult than contra -metal slug. Except that we have fun with these games. With yours nothing at all it sucks. Only music is good...

Code Arcturus v1.1.0 Patch live

I'm happy to release the first larger patch for Code Arcturus. v1.1.0 includes:

Balance changes

Two difficulty settings added to the level selection screen: "Rebalanced" and "Original". The Rebalanced option is the new default and recommended for new players. But you are free to switch to the Original difficulty at any time, to experience the game in it's original "glory".
Removed some especially annoying spike ball obstacles and enemies in level 5
Lowered the spawn rate of enemies in level 6 by 50%
Removed some especially annoying rocket enemies in level 7
Lowered the spawn rate of enemies in level 9 by 25%
Reduced the star requirement for the final boss from 25 to 20 stars

Technical upgrade

Updated the engine to Unity 2020.2.2f
Various stability improvements

Any updates?

I like the idea of the game, but to me it's extremely difficult! Like REALLY difficult. I'm playing on rebalanced difficulty and barely on level 5. There's so many spikes, spiked balls and enemies and such it feels very unfair. Also, the spikes hitbox feels a touch too big. Just wanted to know if there are any updates on the game planned. Thanks!...
