game won't start help please

I hit play. then screen desktop gets inlarged then i here the music see the curser .and thats
as far as i get .I just brought this through steam if thats any help and I have windows 10 .I
also read the forms and can't get it to work. what others are saying to do

I read elsewhere that you have to start it from steam with the launch parameter set to windowed. Not sure what that means yet, but as my game won't run either I plan to find out.

I had the same problem, here is a solution:

Right-click on the game title under the Library in Steam and select Properties.
Under the General tab click the "Set launch options..." button.
Enter "-windowed" without the quotes, and click Okay

Then launch the game, let me know if it doesn't work for you.

Just wanted add onto the good advice already stated by Eaglenaut.

It is still perfectly possible to play in fullscreen mode. Once the game is fully loaded just hit Alt+Enter to force the game into fullscreen. So long as you load the game in Windowed and then Alt+Enter fullscreen still appears to work for me on Win 10 without problems.
