How long a season usually takes?

I really wonder how people play FM21 in comparison with how i play. I am seeing people starting a new save like every week, or playin dozens of seasons in a few weeks. I have 210 hours of playtime on FM21, of course almost half of that time i was away from keyboard. But at the end, i only managed to finish 3 whole seasons on my Atalanta save. So, i really wonder how you guys play the game in general? How you manage to play so many seasons like in one day? Am i doing something wrong? :D.

I created a list of teams to manage on FM21, like 5-6 teams and could only manage one of them literally... And FM22 is almost coming up... Any experience or suggestion is very much appreciated.

if you use a skin with instant result then you can easily do a full season in a weekend.

Many people leave interviews and media to assistant managers which removes a big chunk of time. People go on holiday during the international break so that everything is simulated quicker, and of course the quick result button.

There was a button to simulate the rest of the match while in a match too but it is gone. Is it about the skin i am using? I'm using TCS skin latest version and don't wanna change it. How may i get that back?

I can do a full season ( instant result ) in about 2 days ( with about 5-6 leagues loaded )

Do you play instant result every single game on your save? Why? How do you understand how your team plays and alter your tactic?

Depends how you play.
With an 'instant result' mod I usually need about one gaming day ( 8 hours !) for a half saison.
And I need time since I start a save in Vanarama N/S and work my way up the leagues until I reach the Premier League and play european cups.

I always start with the lowest possible team (predicted for relegation from Vanarama N/S at the beginning)
In my current save I am mid 2025 and on top of the league in Championship with Leamington

Yeah, I just use 1 tactic and keep it for the full season, maybe switch it up now and again

Got it. It is a different way of playing FM. Maybe the best way actually, cause the match engine really feels very random at some point of the game and your interactions really doesn't change anything much. So, using instant result a lot and not really wasting time on those things like minor tactical changes since your impact is too small however makes sense.
