Why is the other teams GK always OP

Played a full season and can safely say the other teams GK in around half the matches gets a rating of 7 plus. Multiple matches with 10 plus shots on target but I get 2 shots against. I know getting FM'd but the consistency is getting old fast...

Not scripted and you might find the other teams GK OP because you don't know how to set decent attacking tactics. 90% of the time the issue is between the keyboard and chair.

Your strikers are not great shots or you are getting them to shoot from range? Im guessing thats giving them a good rating. I get a good rating with my keeper better than the opposition most games, but my keeper is really good for the division and so plays well and my striker is pretty decent and scores well. Thats my guess. Its defo not the game cheating as it doesnt happen to me.

They aren't OP. The way their rating calculated is by shot stopped and successful passes. Mostly by shot stopped. Now the problem is, the rating increases no matter what kind of shot it is as long as it's an on target shot. It could be saving a shot to the top corner of the goal or gentle miskick or gentle bounce from the DF. And ALL that considered as on target shots.

If you watch the game, you'll see that those high ratings don't always come with spectacular saves but more because of your players crappy shots due to alot of factors.

Edit: With that being said, I can't really pinpoint what's wrong with your shots as I don't see those matches. But more often than not, that's the main problem with high ratings GK and alot of shots on target with little to no goal conversion. If I can see the matches, I might be able to help you.

Play defensive tactic and realise that your keeper is also op

Sometimes its just the way the game goes. I can put 4 goals past Man City one game then the next the same players are struggling to score against some 2 star rated keeper from League 1

If you're not scoring goals regularly then its most likely your tactic though

not having this problem. playing as arsenal, only signed a DM mendy from leicester on loan and im 2ND in the league, scoring many goals and have one of the best defences too.

Bad algorithm. Dont matter what you do, the enemy is still in favor of winning. So the game doesnt become boring for you in the minds of this stuupid donkeey developers.

its not scripted. your looking at 1 game where you deserved more but got unlucky. your probably using a high line, high press and they countered you in the final mins when your players were nakered from high press intensity all game. thats a common one.

That's one game though, and that does happen. If it were happening every game there would be a problem. But, balance it out over a season and it's fairly reasonable. Provided your keeper is a solid level for the league that is.
