HELP!. Lost my saved game files!!!

so i always do 'save as' and its always been fine... havnt played for a day or so and i load up manager 21, and all my saved files have gone!!! plz help <3 plzzzz

If you go to your Sports Interactive folder (normally found in Documents) and click Football Manager 2021 and proceed to the games folder, do the save games appear in there?

no. no files are there, i tried even looking at the back-up files then into manager21 and nothing is there either : / ...

i dont understand how it happened either, maybe new manager update had delete them all? idk, tried youtube but didnt find anything there to help me either or the manager21 help thin ... really sucks :( pretty tilted and disapointed .... none of my saved games are there at all, just empty : /

Saves can't be deleted by the game, they can only be removed manually so they should still be somewhere on your system. Just to confirm, you were definitely saving locally and not to the cloud?

Save games by default should be found here - C:\Users\YOUR WINDOWS USERNAME\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2021\games

i just went through what you told me, led me to 'config' (was only thing once i opened games) i opened it and only got this. (will copy n paste down below) ... idk how this has happened. noone touches this computer apart from me, and def. didnt delete anything.

its like its just vanished :'( such sad times ... ill keep looking but ive been trying all day/night to try get it back ... might just have to bite the bullet but i dont understand how this has happened and i feel if i play again eventually the same thing is going to happen... just feels like a waste :S

Have you tried manually searching your system for the files? They may well have been saved somewhere else the first time you did so, so the file path is somewhere else.

Also worth checking the cloud just in case, you'll need to turn on hidden files and folders as shown here before going to the location - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/view-hidden-files-and-folders-in-windows-10-97fbc472-c603-9d90-91d0-1166d1d9f4b5

C:\Users\YOUR WINDOWS USERNAME\AppData\Local\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2021\cloud\games

And also if you've ever signed into your machine via a different windows user account than the one you're using now, it'll be in the documents folder associated with that windows account.

Ive tried everything, everytime i open up the file theres nothing there :S .... all my files are shown, nothing hidden either :S ... C:\Users\YOUR WINDOWS USERNAME\AppData\Local\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2021\cloud\games ...
did that, nothing is at the end of the file , like i said its like its disappeared, all my other games are fine its just manager21 has all gone, the file is there but nothing in it .... i only have 1 account there would be no way i could logged into a diff. account for this to happen either :S

whats more frustrating is that everything else on my manager21 is there, my tactics, MY MANAGER, screnshots, saved matches, there all there just not my 'saved games'
