MAC BIG SUR *GAME WILL NOT LAUNCH*

Anybody else on a macbook pro. I have Big Sur and the game will not even launch from steam......

idk what a big sur is but when i got the game it didnt open so i verified the files then it opened

I had the same problem, I clicked the "Start" button, the button turns blue and 2 seconds later it is green again. But apparently it had nothing to do with the MacBook. I am running PiHole (https://docs.pi-hole.net) in my network which prevents devices in the network to access blacklisted IP addresses.
When I deactivate PiHole, FM21 starts just fine.

Maybe you have some software/hardware that is blocking access to an IP address FM21 needs to talk to?

Mine is the exact same! I'm on a brand new macbook air, fully updated, donwloaded steam and fm21 multiple times to see if there was anything i could do. i've tried everything suggested online, and by sega but nothing helps.

They need to sort this ASAP.

I was having the same issue and re-validating my files fixed it for me. Don't know if it will work for you to.

Same problem for me even after clearing the caches and preferences.

I had the exact same issue.
Brand new Macbook Pro.
Re-validating the game files in Steam fixed the issue for me for both Touch and the Normal version.

Devs: Please add a description for Big Sur.

I have the same exact issue. After updating my mac two days ago, it will not let me start playing. I don't know what's wrong or how to fix it
