Fm 2022 Feature Addition - to include 15 women leagues.

Not overly bothered about this, but wondering how many people will play the women's side of football? The interest in it isn't high for me and I'd have preferred to see other additions made to the game that the fan base have been asking for....

none. I've seen some posts about this before on here and reddit, and to me it seems the people who want it are very adamant about how much it's needed and blah blah blah, but it seems to really be a minority who care.

Will you be able to sign women on to your men's teams? If not, I really see no reason to include them, if you can, then they will exist solely to generate new players and be completely ignored. That's how I see it, and based on FIFA numbers, that's how the majority of people see it.

Only Miles Jackobson was on Talk Sport this afternoon and confirmed it will be an addition to FM22... he stated something along the lines of "we don't normally talk about features before the games release, but this is important.....".

They want scouts to help them develop the database of players. And there will be approx 15-16 women football leagues added to FM22.

It was on sometime approx 2pm-3pm this afternoon. He had a woman footballer on with him at the same time and they spoke for a good 10 minutes on how this will be added.

We are football has the women's DB
So yeah i'm in if SI will include it but since it's SI asking for something you want or another person wants.... It's SI not a true passionate dev

Would like to have that option for women football. Also, will be interested to see the difference in ME; maybe not included in men football. Positive movement from SI IMHO

On Twitter, Miles say Not this year as they say they will put in it when is ready and I think it will be in FM 23

I'm quite happy with it tbh. Anything that's substantial and added whether it be historical leagues like ootpb, new leagues, woman's football whatever is great in my book.

I'd definitely play it. I've always enjoyed playing different leagues, different divisions this will be the same.

To me, it just seems like their time could be better used. Fix the bugs, a new and improved ME or youth coaching. I think youth coaching is something that would improve the game much more and add more realism than womens football.

It will be interesting to see if the womens leagues can be chosen the same way leagues are now or if they're baked in with the mens leagues in a specific country when loading a database.

Thankfully there's some actually interesting comments about this topic here and the merits or drawbacks, unlike the announcement thread which had the exact drivel you'd expect from gamers and football fans.

In the original announcement thread Miles answered this question: being that you can add or remove women's leagues in the same way you can add or remove say the Bundesliga or League Two from your saves.
