TQ & Sacred great games. While BG is a great game it falls into the "turn based" Rpg genre i would think. Also check the free to download Flare you might need Desura.

Two Worlds 1 & 2 , Divinty Series. I have to say I am quite pleased with LHOG, its quite enjoyable minus the voice acting. The Voiceovers are on par with Two Worlds 1, epic failure. That aside, great game.

how do you equip gear? is there a equipment screen? I've tryed every key.....

it says here i or c key http://www.allgame.com/game.php?id=66257&tab=controls also i believe you drag the item onto your avatar when the inventory screen is open to equip, its been awhile since i played and i uninstalled so i did not confirm this hope it helps

I just checked...it's "i" or "c" on my setup to open the inventory. You drag items directly onto your character to equip (and drag off to unequip). I'm reasonably certain that what you see on your character is not reflected in the inventory.

Very odd, as mentioned above, you drop and drag items to equip. I and C just open your inventory, there is no equipment screen. you can hit left shift to compare items. Not the most exciting hack n slash, kinda sad I paid 9 bucks for this, it belongs in the doller bin but, if your on a conquest to try all hack n slash games it will amuse you for a few.

It's a decent little rpg that came from a small company. Enjoy it for what it is...here is a link[www.rpgwatch.com] to an interview with Jan Beuck regarding the development of LHoG.
