i really want to try this one because of all recent NFS games this looks most like some sort of ungerground reboot, and im so hungry for neon nights and illegal street racing, also i like the cutscenes with real actors, it looks better than uncanny cgi actors and also reminds me most wanted times... but this possible expiration really bothers me.
Also how does this game compares to heat in terms of similarity to Undeground 1-2, Most Wanted and Carbon (yes im one of those guys who actually loved carbon and think its the last really good nfs) ???
And bonus question - how does this and heat compares to rockstars Midnight club series?
If you have lag (downloading something while playing for example) even while playing alone it will negatively affect you game.
For example checkpoints or the end line you hit them and thanks to the lag (if you have a lag) the game will have a delay in registering you hit that checkpoint/end line.. that would miss up with you badly in time trials or time attack races.
Didn't know you couldn't play without internet, fortunately I got it for a couple of dollars but still it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
It's likely they'll patch the game when they take down the servers and remove all the online features with it.
its EA thry just brake old game and dont care to patch them... they still did not patch out battlelog from BF3 and Hardline despiteits totally broken now.
I wouldn't get my hopes up. After all, they recently shut down Ghost Games and relocated its staff to Criterion and EA Ghotenburg.
but post release support does not really need original team plus it seem they just relocated and merged into other studio so basically they are still there, and so as the source code, which is anyway a propery of EA, so they can fire anyone but as long as source code is there they can update and patch anything.
