controller issue
Hello, the other day i was trying my GameSir G4 Pro with this game, and idk why the game was having an anomaly where the car was accelerating or braking & steering by itself.

I believe I found a fix. Im using a PS4 controller. Try setting key bindings exact like this. CLICK ON THE LINKS FOR PHOTOS. MAKE SURE YOU SET THE WHEEL TO "CUSTOM MAPPING". There are like 5 different wheels so make sure you set it to custom mapping cause thats what I have it set to.

100% playable. Only issue I'm having right now is clicking down on the left joy stick does the "Trigger Event". Basically like when you're under one of those challenges or collectibles, clicking the left joy stick will act as a front right bumper. Its stupid but has no effect while driving. Holding the stick will retain the default function such as playlist skip. Since the wheel remap has to use the "Gear up" if you want to use your car in manual you'd have to change the remap on the wheel settings. Swap throttle from "Gear up" to "Skip music track" and then disable playlist radio in the sound settings. If you don't disable playlist radio songs will just keep skipping. "Gear up" should be remained unmapped. That's the only way it wont conflict with driving. If you leave the keybind throttle on "Gear up" and put your car in manual mode it'll do stupid ♥♥♥♥. I've tested it. Spent a good few hours trial and erroring so get back to me asap.

solution for me was to clean unplugged devices, make sure there are no controller devices recognized and all in windows, turn steam input off in game's controller config, turn off xbox support in steam settings, and have only 1 controller plugged in

Just wanted to add what worked for me, and my Xbox One S Controller. I unbound all keyboard controls (except the one you can't) and then went to steering wheel, edit controls, and then RESET first! Then, unbind them one by one. After I did this, the keyboard prompt went away from the menu and it was just controller prompts. I tried every other suggestion going round.

-worked for me, credits go to smutbag for finding this
