Game Wont load

When i try and start up the game it just opens a black window but never loads. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, how do I fix this?

This is an issue that likely has to do with Origin. There are plenty of people with similar issues on the EA technical forum ( https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/bd-p/pvz-battle-neighborville-tech-issues-en ) You're more likely to get help there if you make a thread describing your issue. You should also include a DxDiag so people can easily diagnose what's going on.

I had the same problem the first time I tried to play the game after I installed it. A computer restart fixed it. My son had to restart his computer twice after the same problem, but both seem to run the game fine after the initial restarts, though the game does still freeze occasionally.

There is 2 ways you can fix and solve(didn't bought the game because of this problem)
1 You can try restart and pray it will play of the screen
2 Is Bigger deal is that if your pc user is written on other language but english R.I.P
you may need to do second user on your pc and name it only with English Letters...(because EA and they did like 3 4 patchs and didn't fixed this...)

Also, make sure other programs, like Razer Synapse, are turned off before you load up.

I have it on Origin the only fix I found for the black screen freeze fix besides end task in task manger is to run C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat\EasyAntiCheat.exe and repair "Picnic"

I made a troubleshooting guide. Quite short but im putting this out there because I know people have been having issues

You must turn on Origin as an administrator. Then go to the properties local files for the game and enable it as administrator as well.

You need to run orgin as administrator and then play in its files. After that, you won't have to do it anymore. It works fine now

I try everything, but without success :( Game start and stay on logo screen with zombies in gardens... and nothing.
