From what I have seen, they fixed some bugs:
  • In Gaul, during the final cutscene with Getafix, the camera is no longer behind the bushes in Retro mode.
  • Some bugged crates misassigned to a particular sector when it should be to the common sector are removed.
  • The multiplier count display is reset to 0 when starting a slide.
  • The boss music loops correctly.
  • Asterix's original bath costume was slightly changed to add some black pixels: (Image)[media.discordapp.net]
  • ...

There are probably more fixes that I haven't discovered yet.

Unfortunately there are some regressions:
  • When starting a new game, in Gaul, two songs would play at the same time in Remaster mode (the normal music + the ambience music that should only be played when there's no other music).
  • In Normandy, the wooden crate, that was added in previous patches to let you collect the laurel in case you destroyed the metal crates, is removed for some reason. (image)[media.discordapp.net]

Also a lot of old bugs are still present, such as Obelix being stuck by a crate in Greece and not being able to follow Asterix when you reach the boss, ...

what about bugged percentage metrics? 49% were maximum if you collect everything and do all challenges (that is because challenges subtract % and not add them)

I forgot to mention that, but it is now fixed. (My save went from 44% to 75% by only playing 6 minutes on a completed save except all laurels.)

XXL 3 got an update too, maybe you can find some changes there?

Also, most lighting errors are fixed (there are lighting transitions everywhere where they were missing previously, two areas that looked very dull and grey before got new lighting); the world map now works correctly; the wrong camera angles in the final cutscene of Helvetia are fixed; the render distance in slides and boat rides has been increased significantly; some missing particles have been added; the bug where the title screen doesn't have music is also gone.

Overall, this patch finally puts the game into the state it should have been released in last year. I can't believe it took them a year to fix these bugs, and even then, it still leaves a lot to be desired. Retro music doesn't loop, ever. There are tons of texture glitches in every level. The world map is zoomed out so far when you unlock a new level that there's a huge corner without water visible on the upper left. And the lighting still looks completely unnatural in many areas.
