Does this game include fever mode?`

My experience with puyo puyo was largely playing fever mode on ps2 so im wondering if thats still available?

There's no fever mode in PPT2, but there's one in Puyo Puyo Champions. PPT2 has only Big Bang which is just the fever part with preset chains for a limited time, no actual build phase and garbage exchange here.
