It reminds me of when Half-Life 1 got a couple of updates a few years back. There were more updates even there. Not to say it's easy to update a game, but the fact that other developers push a solid 10 updates out within 3 months with at least 10 items on each list and here we are with 1-3 minor fixes with very obvious problems standing out as evident in every update.
It's disappointing to have to say that we're not entitled to more updates and that this is more than is obligated, but this certainly has been a disappointing post-launch support period. I didn't expect much, but we've received even less than that.
I loved the game though overall. An absolutely lovely experience. Just a bad mark on an otherwise great game.
The speed/stutter game issue reported and described by Digital Foundry is different from both the occasional micro-stuttering while riding the bike and on foot in certain situations and the temporary fps drops when near camps from loading. In fact, both the micro-stuttering and fps drops near cities lead to brief high frame time spikes that are clearly shown by any frametime monitoring and capture tool, like RTSS or CapFrameX.
Of course, some users may be subjectively more or less sensible to perceive these brief and occasional high frame times spikes during gameplay, but, ultimately, they are clearly shown by any reliable and accurate frame time analysis.
The thing is when I killed all the soldiers after saving the guy who created Napalm, all the textures just disappeared and MC always falling under the map and dies, and it happens constantly. Even when I load an older saves and go to this place again, still happens. ♥♥♥♥, it's an end of the game and I cannot finish it:(
