Days gone remastered

Hey everyone,
With the recent announcement of Days Gone Remastered coming to PS5 on April 25, 2025, I’m trying to clarify the differences between the PS5 version and the PC version.

From what I’ve read, the PS5 remaster will have enhanced visuals like improved textures, shadows, lighting, and draw distances, along with 3D audio and VRR support. The PC version will get the new “Broken Road” DLC with new game modes (Horde Assault, Permadeath, Speedrun) , but no mention of visual upgrades for PC.

I want to make sure I’m understanding this correctly:

Will the visual enhancements from the PS5 remaster apply to the PC version at all?
Are there any other differences between the PS5 and PC versions with this update?
If anyone has more info or insights, I’d really appreciate the help. Thanks!

From what I can tell, the PS5 graphics overhaul will only bring it up to par with the PC port. Yes the PS5 version of the game is as of now inferior in terms of graphics to the PC port.

The remaster still doesn't even come close to the Days Gone I played visually with a reshade mod that had me having to pick my jaw up of the floor due to how beautiful it made the game... that was free and only required a download then dropping a file into the paks folder.

I'm really looking forward to a permadeath play-through which I can't see myself achieving on hardest difficulty but then I did always moan about the game being easy.
