Days Gone Remaster instead of DLC

I rather get Days Gone Remastered as it’s own game on Steam. 10$ to upgrade for all who already own original or regular price for bundle of OG game and remastered one. Exactly like Horizon did, DLC is worse idea in my opinion. I wish they changed it. I guess DLC is better than nothing, however not the best choice in my opinion.

Days Gone on PC already has the same visuals as the Remastered Version on PS5.

Days Gone Remastered is literally just a port of the PC Version running at Max Settings.

Only the additional content in the Remastered Version is new, hence why that is being made available to this version as DLC.

Maybe so but I still would prefer another game rather than DLC, since I would get more out of game than I do from DLC.

That is not what I said, if you were able to read I would rather have it like Horizon Zero Dawn did it. 10$ upgrade for current owners of og game or bundle of og and remaster for 50 for everyone else.

If this definitive edition is its own game like Days Gone Remaster, especially if I can upgrade to it, then yes I’d be more interested in it then in DLC. If it’s even real in the first place as I didn’t heard about anything as such.

they can't do it like horizon zero dawn, as horizon was an actual upgrade on pc with engine and graphic changes so they can release it as a separate game and call it a remaster, the remaster consoles are getting for days gone is EXACTLY the same graphics the pc version already has its not anything new on pc. except only adding additional game modes to pc hence why its dlc not a whole new game to buy. there is no remaster for pc

How do you know all of that? Any link to sources? If it’s true that Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered was done that way and Days Gone Remastered isn’t, then I can agree with you.

The remastered version compared to the original version on PC feels like a lazy Reshade preset with no actual improvements.

Yes just like I got with Horizon Zero Dawn, correct.

I'd understand somewhat if the request was predicated on achievement hunting. I.e. having a separate achievement list to grind towards... but this is just some autistic weirdo fodder, LMAO.

Having achievements sure would be nice, just a one of few reasons to separate them like they did with Horizon ZD. But hey if you like the idea of DLC, nobody is stopping you. I for one probably won’t be getting it. Unless it adds some achievements and goes on sale that is.
