Skizzo explosion freeze

Game keeps freezing when ever I try to pass the barrels to kill skizzo
I have tried every recommended fix. any suggestions on how to get past this point

This is a fairly common problem on certain computers.
What the common denominator is, I don't know.

Usually the way to get past that point is to set all your graphics settings to Low.
Restart that mission. You should then be able to play through that bug/glitch/whatever.


I first played this game on a below minimum specs computer,
FX8300 cpu, 16GB ram, GTX 750ti gpu. I played the game all the way though, no major problems and definitely nothing like your problem anywhere.

Then I upgraded to an up-to-date computer.
R7 7700X cpu, 32GB ram, RTX 2070 super gpu, upgraded that to RX 7900 XT.
Playing with maxed out graphics setting, not had any problems through 3 play throughs on this machine. 5 play throughs altogether.

Tried your suggestion on my ROG ALLY X. No dice. Keeps freezing whatever I do.

Lock your fps on 60Hz, no higher. Try it at that, it should work. Once you're through that mission, you can reset it to your normal.
