Game Bugs?

On the mission It's a rifle not a gun after spotting the deer and being handed the rifle the game won't lemme equip it in the weapon wheel. M/kb, PS4 controller, won't lemme do either. No mods, restarted a new game, verified files, anyone else got this or am I dead in the water?

You can't equip the rifle, it's Copelands own rifle. He takes it back off you once the mission is finished, so you never owned it. It isn't a bug, it's the way that mission was done by the devs. You can't equip weapons you find either, same thing.

Yup, me to, you just use the rifle to shoot the deer. Not long after, Copeland asks for it back and you hand it over. You don't 'equip' the rifle, you just aim and shoot, that's it.

If you're saying you can't 'just aim and shoot the rifle', you're asking about fixing a bug. If that's the case, just quit the game, back to desktop, then restart the game and click continue. It'll start at the beginning of that mission again. While you're out of the game, you might as well verify your installed game files in Steam.

And now I see you've changed your title to Game Bugs.
It isn't a bug that's cropped up before, that I remember. But there are bugs in the game which are all quite similar to this. The 'fix' is as I've written just above.

did you manage to fix this? I have the same issue...
restarting and continuing didnt fix the bug.
might need to quit the mission and restart, but do let me know how you got past this.

Got past it, had to delete the paks folder in the appdata of the game, guess it dont even like lighting/texture mods

im having the same issue im tryng to delete my infinite ammo mod to get it to work but the mod wont go away
