Attack glitch?

I'm having terrible issues with attacks intermittently not working. This occurs with molotovs, rocks, melee, shooting. It's not an RT sensitivity issue, as the bike performs perfectly. I switched to K+M, and the problem persists. I can be zoomed in or have the projectile arc highlighted, but no amount of pressing MB or RT works. I'll move around a bit and swear, and then it works suddenly. This is most annoying when fighting a group in melee as I have to roll away for a bit and then I'll swing once, maybe even a combo, but it varies.

Any advice is welcome.

It happened to me with handguns, specially the PDW but not exclussively. As in I'd fire 3-4 shots and the gun would stop working and I'd have to break aim to make it work again.
My solution was using automatic weapons only. Didn't find a legit fix.

I've got the same issue with the assault rifle. I've had to give up on the game as dying repeatedly to enemies that should've been shot is so frustrating.

I have the same issue on PC. I'm at the first tunnel , it's blocked and have to use the small side tunnel. A zombie comes out of the side room and none of my attack controls work. No melee,guns or duck and roll. I am unable to get past this point. I have spent hours trying to get past this point, Flash light works though. I just bought this game a couple days ago

You have to follow the prompt on this attack. If you follow the prompt, Deacon will throw it off, then you can kill it.
You're half way through, if that, of a sequence of 'teaching' jobs. You need to pay attention, look for prompts and act on them immediately or you'll die. The prompts aren't always obvious.
