2.At least a remaster of Days Gone can breath some new life into this franchise that has no sequels for it planned.(they can fix remaining bugs, add some new weapons, QOL improvements, new difficulty settings, ability to slide down the ladders etc)
Yeah, maybe they just go the "lazy" route and just add some ray tracing and upscaling settings to it. But a fan can dream that they actually "improve" the gameplay as well.
FALLOUT 4 2015: I hope so much that nobody accepts FO4 as the final result, and that IMMEDIATELY another developer, for example:
Rockstar Games after GTA6,
or Bend Studio after their "cancelled live service game"
does: a remake reboot technical restart with new state of the art assets.
+ with asset from "Sons of the Forest 2024"
This is how you build a shelter and how you become self-sufficient by building a hot air fryer with a battery and solar panel...
Fallout 5
I see the setting as New Jersey, so beteen New York City and Philadelphia
Fallout 6
I see the setting as Nashville Tennessee
Fallout 7
I see the setting as Chicago Illinois
or ANOTHER quasi FALLOUT Spin-Off. The protaganist is another "Raider".
I see rural oregon with Deacon as completed.
I see a "Days Gone 2" as like "Shadow Man: 2econd Coming 2002", so only negative.
I think that Bend Studio, with a Fallout game, can therefore tell the most interesting topics in contemporary history.
With the metaphors:
- Pip-boy Personal Information Processor
- V.A.TS. Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System
- holotapes tape holography technology, storing their information safely for extended periods of time
- outdoors, translate all the "Raider" languages,
with "itourtranslator" intelligent voice translator glasses, 137-language translation.
- Stunts with TTS self-therapy,
WIN+H, pdf-file, Edge Browser
- scan through all population,
with GoPro Cloud or camera glasses Cloud
-ect.
AND ESPECIALLY:
I hope to get from Bend Studios, which I wish most about a new FALLOUT Game.
For me 1st place: Play time ia a maximum of 60 hours (with Open World explore everything twice as long).
No more 200+ hours of Mannerism over-complicatedness.
For me 2nd place: Narrative design
The "Geisterfahrer" (Wrong-way driving, contraflow driving) protagonist can also understand the non-connoisseur.
Its a remaster, not a remake, and AFAIK it's planned for PS5 only, since the Ps4 graphics look pretty ugly on it now.
PC version however got better textures already and still looks good .
So I don't see any benefit from it.
As to it being PS5 only, that wouldn't explain all the activity and a hidden branch being added during Dec/Jan on Steam.
Yep. 100%
Also reason this game didn't get a sequel because of lackluster "day one" sales & bugs that have been improved upon release. Even the creator of the game was very vocal about not getting a sequel. This came at a time when Sony was leaning towards the Last of Us franchise being their main zombie IP seller.
Maybe one-day we might see a sequel, PC sales seemed to help & with Sony shifting away from live service projects because of Concord.
It's a decent game coming from a newer studio with different twist to zombie genre just the story/dialogue between characters appears a 16 year old who likes motorcycles wrote it...
They can improve the gameplay.(For example adding the ability to slide down the ladders, or allowing you to use bike nitro in camps)
They can also add some new content.(Give us the flamethrower weaponwhich was a cut weapon, extra challenges, extra difficulty settings, extra dialogues/cutscenes, extra missions.)
And if they don't want to ever make a Days Gone 2, they can Change that final O'brian cutscene. and wrap up the story completely which will be a much better way to retire the franchise than leaving it in a cliffhanger.
