$10... for WHAT? A better Photo Mode and Permadeath??? ♥♥♥♥ that.
Dualsense feedback? Don't need it as a large majority of PC users use a mouse & keyboard.
Horde Assault? Didn't it have horde like challenges in the game already???

Are the developers smoking crack??? I love this game and have beaten it almost to 100% 3 times in a row. I'll happily play it again, but I ain't paying more money for a 'remaster'.

At least for $10 the PS5 users will get a texture and framerate upgrade. We however are getting shafted.
This DLC is more or less a PS4 Disc upgrade to Digital and PC Is already Digital so yeah it kinda because people have free will even if they care about Bend studio or not. Beside that It was Sony who decide what Bend and could so keep that in mind.

That's ok, you're not paying for a remaster as there isn't one for the PC version; the PC version is being ported to PS5 due to the better graphics quality, hence PS5 gets the remaster.

As for:
- Getting shafted? I disagree, I'm more than happy to pay the price as I didn't know of the game until I saw it in a recent sale, and if I had known about it when it was released on Steam, I would have paid full price. Paying this small sum balances that in my mind.
- Whether you should pay? That is solely your decision, and I won't tell you or anyone else what to spend money on.

The pc version already is the remastered version guys lol. They are just doing it for console now and adding the new content as dlc for pc players.

A lot of cross platform remasters are only a noticeable difference on consoles. I see this as a practical choice, vs wasting time on remastering it on PC and not getting much profit for it.

The PC version with mods already looks way better than the remaster. The new game modes available in the DLC is where the money is at.

It could also be Sony's way of gauging the public interest in the game since it has a pretty passionate fan base now.
I don't really care for remasters as a lazy cash-grab, but if enough attention surrounds this dlc, who knows what that might communicate to Sony in the long run.

The game looks great, no need for a remaster. I appreciate the DLC, but I'd rather take a whole sequel instead.

I just don't think that is what Sony is up to. They are just porting PS4 games because the code base is x86 instead of the others used in the older consoles. There are rumors that a God Of War remaster is on the way as well but people are hoping it's the original games but I have a feeling it will be the most recent one brought up to the new standards. We will see but my feeling is that Sony is just padding their release schedule.

If it was only a remaster I would agree with you, but adding new game modes means extra work went into this and Sony is likely trying to judge how much "real" interest there is still left in the franchise.

They did the same with Last of Us Part 2. But who knows at this point as I said previously their release schedule is pretty empty and adding a game mode is much easier than making an entirely new game. I hope they do for those that love the first one though.

Rich to call an update or dlc for "remaster". Only hopes it fixes the loading assets bug and will not pay a dime for that. Just fix the broken game $ony.
