Why is the DLC not free?
We recently got an amazing update for Baldur´s gate 3 with a lot of new classes and it was free, yet we have to pay 10 euros for this?

I don´t understand because the content we get in this socalled DLC is very minimum, and doesn´t seem to be worth it.

Baldurs Gate 3 = 59,99
Days Gone = 39,99

if you want Days Gone 2, then buy it for 10 to have a chance.

I see this as game support, for me the game is important because it has a German voice output, Baldur's Gate 3 is good, but this has only German subtitles...i hate subtitles only.

So, this whole thing goes back to the PS4 version. So it got a regular PS5 'update' that was apparently okay. Now it's getting a big 'Remastered' update, which includes all the stuff the PC version has, including our new update, AND the $10 DLC stuff. For PS4 game owners, their update to the PS5 Remastered version is $10 USD.

Originally, our DLC (Broken Road) had all those graphical updates split out as well, so it was in parity with the PS4 edition being upgraded to their Remastered edition. Not too long ago, after much whining from the PC community, Bend decided to split out the graphical updates and stuff and add those in for PC users for FREE, while keeping the rest in the $10 DLC.

That's why the DLC is not free, and why it seems a bit pared down in comparison to the PS4-PS5 Remastered update. It is pared down because Bend threw PC players a bone.

Unfortunately, now, almost on queue, we're getting whining that the content of the DLC 'just isn't enough'. But seriously, get it or don't, but stop complaining at this point, it's not ever going to be free.

Days Gone is one of my favorite games too; I've already invested 350 hours of gameplay into it. However, I doubt the new modes really add anything new, but I'll check them out today.

I would have much preferred a classic story expansion with two new areas.

Because Sony likes to charge their Playstation customers 10 bucks per patch.
Its not even a remaster or anything , just straight cashgrab. I waited for this to replay the game... never gonna spend 10$ for literally nothing.

this isnt days gone 2
the "DLC" that been dropped is what MANY other games would add in for free.. its all gimmicks and boring features

Because Sony is greedy and they love to lock patch behind paywall. They knew that this game was well received so minor cash grab DLC was sure money. They/them need to recoup bad investment from Concord.

Oh, I had no idea about that. I wonder how Sony could have pulled off such a disaster.

I just really like Days Gone, The Last of Us (Parts I and II), and Uncharted.

I've already played 78 hours of "The Last of US Part II Remastered" here on PC this month, it came out 3. April ...and then I see there's a DLC coming for Days Gone.

Why should it be free? DLC only adds new modes, all other graphical and gameplay improvements are free. Baldur's Gate 3 didn't add as many graphical improvements to the game for free in the last patch as in this update and in general it's a different type of game there are no classes. By the way you lied in your message, Baldur's Gate 3 didn't add classes but sub-classes and these are different things. Maybe enough whining already?
Because Sony pony for the frajers.

The Horde Arcade mode could be just as fun as the "No Return" mode in " The Last of Us: Part II Remastered "= ca. 100 hours of extra playtime.
I'm really excited about "No Return."
I'll play it today, but I have to cook first.^^

I was so excited when I saw the headlines 'Broken road' DLC for Days Gone. But then I read it's description. Just a couple of mini games and nothing added to the game what so ever.

That excitement melted away pretty quick. It's true that this DLC should be in the game for free. You can't be expected to pay money for a couple of mini games. I don't think anyone asked for this garbage.

If it had been a proper DLC I would be throwing my money at the screen right now.

Don't complain. For example, in Poland we have the most expensive computer games in the world. And here it is already turning into a luxury product. Only because Steam and Sony despise us. And we pay more than 10 euros. And why is it not free? Because someone worked on it and did not do it for charity. Despite the fact that the changes are minimal and the DLC itself was made on the fly in 15 minutes. Someone devoted their time to it to create and release. I also don't think that the DLC had any priority during creation. And the shareholders themselves are not counting on big millions. More of a nod to the fans of the game.

It's 10 bucks to support the dev and hopefully get DG2. So stop complaining. Jeez.
