Edit: I might be wrong though: if PSSR is applied on a driver/system level than no update to UE needed to be done.
And upscalers will give extra FPS on high refresh rate monitor and portable PCs, so it should to be added.
true, would love to have DLSS4 but after looking at the PS5 pro comparison shots between enhanced and quality, quality mode, which is native 4K is still better than PSSR. DLSS4 is better than PSSR but I don't think you are missing all that much. Even DLSS4 also has side effects in some cases more artifacts than native 4K. I can't complain since this is a free update.
