Don't think so.
I think it's a reward for a particular score in Horde Assault.
If this new "Horde Assault" DLC will add enough content and keeps players coming in with new rewards and goals, I think 10€ price point is fair. It sounds a lot like TLOU2 roguelite mode? We can even play as different characters like Rikki and Boozer.
I don't care about the permadeath or speedrun modes or the early game perks which sound useless if you want the real "Days Gone" experience. Your bike doesn't have gas, cry me a river and find more or plan your trips better. Pro tip, you can save gas when going down the hills etc. The point is not to accelerate all the time.
Same here, a cool rogue-lite mode like in TLOU2 hooked me for like 50 hours and for 10 bucks I´m sold.
