Yes, apparently it is a common issue and has been for years. When devs don't patch what is obliviously a game-breaking bug in a 'remake' there's no confidence left in them.
Sony don't seem too fond of this IP.
I'm going to have to postpone this part of the game (not sure for how long as it is part of the main quest) but makes you wonder how such an important part of the game can be overlooked. Off topic but another reason why i never pre-order games anymore. It feels like the consumer has become the BETA Tester,
Usually the fix for this bug, )textures not loading, which is also common in the final cave scene btw), is to quit the game back to desktop then restart. You'll have to do the whole mission again, unfortunately.
Well they probably have to pay proper wages to studio Beta testers. Putting out untested games to the consumer means, we pay them for the privilege of being Beta testers. A win - win for (in this case) Sony
Yeah thanks for the advice I gathered that was the only 'fix' but quite frankly this should be fixed if every other bug is not as it is 'Game-Breaking' The Devs, Sony whoever have clearly abandoned this game.
I've also read that this game refreshes your RAM during the cut scene videos. Skipping the cut scenes skips the RAM refresh as well. How true that is I don't know.
