Data Collection
What's with the over the top, excessive data collection agreement? Mark Zuckerberg called, he thinks you need to chill on the privacy breaches.

You can create a firewall rule that prevents the days gone binary and the crs binary from accessing the internet.
@folken I was sad about having to sell my soul to Sony, but this really saved my ass, you are a real playa.

Good catch on the ability to block it. After I learned about the spyware bundling I wasn't going to purchase it. Is it confirmed that the game's executable contains the spyware, and Sony doesn't install some shady background service that performs the snooping?

I doubt they are taking such data as personnel data, its game data they are using to improve their games, if they were doing such things they amount of law suits would be insane, not even the police can do that, guys are paranoid cause some idiot posted a review about it that cant read.

I hate data gathering as much as the next crazy guy, but what’s the issue? Got nothing to hide? Just imagine what data you give away on sites like facebook... least this goes into gaming and helping sony learn how a pc works for future ports.

Obviously i’ll select limited but i’m not turning it off fully

I gave it a hell no! Not buying until data gathering is gone or a choice to shut it off...:lunar2019madpig::sg3_exclamation::steammocking:

windows 10 probably "violates" your privacy in worse ways then this game, which you can actually block with the guide listed above.

The same people who block telemetry are the same people who cry when the devs say they don’t have enough telemetry to fix certain bugs.

Well then you should stop playing games and using launchers and overall - stop using browsers, your smartphone and the internet overall.

Hillarious how stupid people are today in TWO WAYS.

1. Not fixing stuff that is easy to fix -> firewall rule that blocks game executable and crs connecting to the interwebz.

2. Complain about every ♥♥♥♥ not matter what BUT still don't even try to fix it or avoid it while giving a ♥♥♥♥ about others doing the same - hello Steam.

Imagine thinking "got something to hide?" is a good excuse for being forced to give up your data.

As for "dO yOu KnOw HoW mUcH dAtA fAcEbOoK hAs On You": yes, we know and we're against that too.

Bad enough that social media and our own phones spy on us. We don't need videogames to spy on us too.
