How Does Keyboard & Mouse Feel?

The game was designed with a gamepad in mind so I'm curious how you guys like pc controls. Have you encountered any problems?

Hmmm its a bit troubling to say the least hearing about the janky sensitivity/movement

The really slow mouse sensitivity after you do any action, go through a door way or going into long grass needs to be fixed. Makes using keyboard and mouse pointless.

mouse sensitivity is fine you can increase it, anyway the game is broken it wont let you climb obstacle at early part of the game.

I really like how it feels. I'm nailing so many more headshots with k&m than I did with my PS4 controller. Smooth like butter so far. I might increase mouse sensitivity a TINY bit but so far so good.

bike a bit sensitive, but they have tons of settings so you can tweak to your hearts content.

best pc port ive seen from anyone they have tons of settings for keyboard, mouse, audio, video, gameplay.

they even have like fov which even some pc games do not.

For me the Kammera tracking is not working properly if i drive with the Bike. I must every Time work with the Mouse to follow when driving

Yeah this one is driving me a bit crazy too. Shame cuz otherwise I'm having no problems.

Of course it feels bad. Stop expecting god tier k+m controls on these pc ports. I stopped after getting burned at Horizon Zero Dawn. You play Sony ports with a gamepad

M/K works flawless on Horizon Zero Dawn so dont know what you are talking about?

Ok finally got a chance to play myself. Nowhere as bad as some of the comments were making me dread. Actually pretty flawless except for that aforementioned slowdown after some animations.

Nice, so much better than the PS5 version already :D

After playing my first 3 hours, i have to say that i'm impressed. I was a bit worried about the port and the controls, but it plays really well and it's awesome aiming to an enemy's head with the mouse.

As others have said, bike is a bit too sensitive but there's an option for that.

I am loving it, i have turned off the auto-aim and i'm enjoying a lot with the ballista or with a rifle. The crafting/inventory wheel works perfect with a mouse, good work here also.

That was a common complaint back in the day and no, there's no option for that. You will have to get used and remember to select the chosen weapon each time you want to use it like melee when getting close to zombies while sneaking, or a gun if some are running to you and have the option to take out some before changing to melee again.

It's not the worst I've played, but I did lose all mouse control at one point when searching to find the fuel pump for your bike. reloading checkpoint got past it.

i dont know how you can play with gamepad thhis games
gamepad is a kid's
only for driving gamepadis nice
but when the i started playing,where boozer he get his arm burned and the 3 bald enemies you can fight them, first try with gamepad i killed only one of them and got shot to death, missed a loto f my shotgun shots, then i switch to mouse after restart and killed them in 3 precise shots from pistol very quickly. so how people can play with gamepad after this info? idk. masochists
