the flashlight doesn't attract them either, keep an eye on your mini map hud, its the distance you are to the enemy, running noise that atracts them not the light
For safety they illuminate when the key is on.
Oh i didnt know that. The headlight does bug me being on by default too.
These aren't factory built bikes though. They're cobbled together bits and pieces from various wrecks. Why would they go to the extra effort of hardwiring a headlight to come on (which is a safety feature of real motorbikes), in a world where it's unnecessary?
I actually did not know that. Then again the late 80's/early 90's is probably the last time I sat on a bike. Showing my age.
I get that the engine noise will attract nearby freakers a lot quicker than the headlight will. I still don't think it makes much sense however. Even with the engine idling It's still an additional attracter that isn't even much use except when riding through tunnels.
I read somewhere that the flashlight does attract them...but the game doesn't tell you that.
Umm in real life, All motorcycles do this. There is no "Off" switch, Only high beam and low. The headlight is on the whole time its running.
during the day motorcycles are supposed to have the headlight on for safety reasons, basically so cars see them more easily. I suppose its an immersion thing related to biker knowledge.
but Bendover drops the ball on EVERY other important factor related to bikes and bikers so idk.
