Going South

Hello! I am about to go South with my bro, but unfortunately for me I am a completionist and things that I still have to do are bothering me. Is it worth waiting for the missions given by the 2 camp leaders? Or will I get them later when I progress the story? Also...One time I woke up the entire horde inside the cave by an accident and it went away to some random place...will it respawn in the same cave after some time?

Not going to go into too much details as that would be spoilers but you will be able to go back to the northern areas after some main missions in the south.

Are you in the Hot Springs and Copelands Camp areas, going South with your bro to get help for his burnt arm?
Or have you done that and are planning on going further South, NOT with your bro??

Okay, yeah you can go back and forth from the Lost Lakes area. I thought you meant going south without Boozer. I completed all the Hot Springs camp missions before going to get some items with a person from the Lost Lakes camp that is a BIG mission in the game and just have 1 more camp mission for Copelands camp by the time I went south of Lost Lakes area without Boozer. As for the hordes you should check out Borislav 247's youtube for VERY Helpfull videos on ALL of the hordes.

Yeah, you ain't locked out. You'll be able to circulate around that whole area. You visit Sarahs stone 4 or 5 times, just before you go further South from Lost Lake visit it again after speaking to O'Brian. Once you go further South, you're locked out of the Northern Regions (which you're in now) until near the end. You can come back after the story is completed and mop up anything you left.

It's best to avoid hordes until you've got the better weapons, which you get in the Southern regions. Nothing to stop you taking them out now, if that's what you want to do. But there are a couple which are story hordes, you don't get the credits for taking them out until the story tells you to.
