Strange glitch where I can't repair or refuel my bike manually (with the B button)

Idk why, but all the sudden, I can't use B while holding a gasoline can to refuel my bike or to do repairs on it anymore. I was able to do both until this morning. I have tried "recovering" my bike on the map a couple of times and it doesn't help. I can refuel at gas pumps and at mechanic's shops, I just can't do it manually.

I'm playing on a Steam Deck OLED, if that makes any difference.

Anyone else ever have this? Is there a solution?

Edit: For some bizarre reason, the button switched to RB. The prompt still says B, but I have to press the right bumper to do it. It was B my whole play through, but now, oddly, I just have to press a different button even though it wasn't remapped. At least it works, I guess?

Switch off your Steam Deck totally. Switch it back on.

I have restarted and power cycled, the issue persists. ☹️

Verify game files in your Steam Library, right click Days Gone, properties, installed files.

Actually YES! It's the weirdest thing--the button is now Right Bumper to refill the gas and repair the motorcycle. The prompt still says B, but you have to press RB. I have absolutely no idea why or how to fix it, but it works.

Can you change the button map in game options?
I've no idea what can or can't be done using a Steam Deck.

yes ! weird it changed on its own , i remapped it to original
