Bug - Survivors Rescued From Marauders Can't Be Sent To Camp

The game lets you rescue survivors from the Marauders and then send them to the camp to boost your reputation there. But there's this survivor who I've rescued twice now. He keeps hanging around in the house looking scared or something, but I can't initiate a conversation with him to send him to the Lost Lake camp.

I just rescued him for the SECOND TIME from Marauders who take over this house he's in, but still can't talk to him to send him to one of the camps, such as Lost Lake, like you can with the other survivors.

It's one of those cases where the game marks the survivor's location on the radar with a little question mark... you go there to rescue him, but you can't talk to him... seems bugged?

EDIT: Now I got to one of those parts in the game where a survivor is inside their car trying to stay away from the zombies, except there aren't any zombies there and I can't talk to them to send them to a camp. My game seems severely bugged now...

I ran into 4 or 5 of these throughout the game unforrtunately. I’m not sure what caused the bug, but damn i was rad to miss out on the precious trust they can offer.

It seems like your game is bugged slightly. Try the fixes in this troubleshooter.

First thing I would try is - verify game files.
It runs through verification twice. so don't watch it reach 100%, think it's done and jump back into the game. Leave it for a few minutes, to complete all it's checks and fix any bad files. Once the pop up appears that says, all files verified, or whatever it is. Then return to the game.

Having moved on after those encounters I am finding myself able to rescue the survivors again. I guess it was just those couple encounters that were bugged.

Most of the game seems to be working.

Yea, that was my experience. It may happen again. Just keeps going and it should fix itself. Like I said my whole playthrough has it happen like 5x and I dunno why.
