And sometimes with Deacon, but there's a mod on Nexus which silences hisv excessive callouts
Now I am Scottish and an ordinary working man, a truck driver But although I noticed Deacons swearing, I never considered it excessive, just fairly normal. He's a biker, a bike mechanic, an ex-soldier and an apocalypse survivor. People in any of those situations are very likely to swear.

Watch a scorsese, tarantino, or any movie with jack nicholson in it and you'll hear a lot of use of the f bomb. That is what I call excessive.
As a soldier, I lived in England, Cyprus and then Germany, 12 years service, 7 of those in Germany.
These days, I'm a long(ish) distance truck driver. Driving loads of goods to Switzerland or Germany and then returning with goods to Scotland. I drove all over Great Britain for 10 years as well. I'll be retiring early next year..
Scotland has always been home though. Where were you living in Scotland? It's only a small country, but with wide contrasts between the central belt, the Highlands and the Southern Uplands.
I've never actually been to Arran
All the way around it, on the mainland. I worked out of Invararay for a week, delivering building materials for the local builders merchant, so Cambelltown, Tighnabruaich and so on. I even had a holiday cottage up there one year, just outside Carradale. Despite all that, I still haven't been to Arran. That's something I'll have to do at some point.
