Why game is hated?

I see a lot of Sony Ponys hating on this game and saying this game sucks and horizon is far better. I am really loving the world of this game than HZD and the game mechanics are very fun. I really don't get why the hate for this game.

Lol yeah, I remember before i got an SSD for my PS4 the bike would be going too fast for the trees to fully load in. It is certainly a game that stretched the PS4 to the max of what it was physically capable of.... on pc it's been nice.

Is that a problem in GTAV for the PS4? Or are the trees a lot more realistic in Days Gone?

If everyone liked the same thing the world would be one dull place, For everyone that likes something you will find some one that hates it, This is a good thing and i don't understand why people get so upset because they don't like something that you do. If you happy then why should it bother you if someone hates it and vice versa ? it really shouldn't effect you

Never played the GTAs on Playstation but from your tone I assume it worked better. Days Gone definitely had trouble working on a base PS4. But it also didnt' have nearly the staff that Rockstar has.
Good thing the SSD, PS5, and PC exists. Perhaps they were overambitious but they made one hell of a game. Rockstar basically has infinite staff at this point so not a terrific comparison.

There's a lot of weird retconning here, trying to make out the game flopped because it had a white protagonist rather than because performance at launch was garbage and the gameplay is literally just off the shelf Jiminy Cockthroat gameplay but with motorcycles.

Kind of a spoiler, Same as ME3, the ending. They leave it on a cliff hanger and everyone is pretty sure its not getting another game.

Well, you can just ignore that cutscene and consider it a "dream" and the story will feel like a finished story.

it's only hated by certain kind of jurnos and twitter mob. Mind you protagonist is white - motor club member. Just today i played and radio free oregon was like "I bet if whole america had guns we wouldn't be in this mess, feds used mass shootings to take our guns away (....)" and when rant was over my character was like "yeah you got me this time, i do love my guns"
This is undoable in 2024 by western dev

When did a majority of players stop playing the game? Days Gone is slow in moving the plot forward, and just as you think ‘this is it’ the game just “resolves” whatever issue was previously being dealt with and replaces it with a new goalpost.

Had the game ended with Deacon finding a mutilated and dying Sarah in the Ripper’s main base then the game could have been wrapped up right then and there. Had they spent all the time they used to work on the area in the south of the map and focused it on adding more story content for the other regions then people would probably have liked the game more.
