What are some recommended mods?

Already platted the game back on ps4 when it came out and looking for another playthrough but with some mods this time around, any suggestions? any mods that remove some tediousness are most welcome.

There are loads on Nexus Mods.

There are mods to make the nights darker, multiply the strength of the torch/flash light, improve scopes and binoculars, instantly open bonnets and boots/hood and trunk, increase the frequency of freakers, adjust the size of hordes, Almost everything has mods. Sometimes mods can cause the game to crash. I've never used mods, so am limited on what I can tell you.

There's a few mods that'll remove tediousness by giving you more freaker ears, faster open animations, etc if that's what you're asking for.

There's also mods to make things like your knife not do pathetic levels of damage if that's your thing.
