Copeland trust
So I still need 500 trust to get to level 2 for bike upgrades. Unfortunately, I've done all the Cope missions and Nero/nests/bandit camps. Is the big complex to the southeast of the first map available or does it unlock later in the game. I tried to get there but I couldn't find a route.

Not sure what complex you're referring to, but you can easily get over the line by handing in bounties, meat, or clearing some of the nearby hordes.

If the map doesn't give you a route then that part of the map will only open after completing a specific mission. Sending rescued hostages to Copelands camp is a good source of Trust.

Well, I'm not ready for hordes and I'm sure not willing to grind 500 points worth of ears or meat. I finished the game on PS and I don't remember having to do that before upgrading the bike to level 2 trust items.

In this interactive map it's above the white band but maybe it's in Iron Mike territory, in which case it doesn't help me anyway.

Yeah, hostages might work. Also, I just got the achievement for getting all the nests, bandits, and nero sites in one region but it doesn't seem like I've done many nests so I'll look around for more.

Just continue with the story. As soon as you finish your next story mission both camps will start calling you again for bounty jobs or rescue missions.

The horde in the railway carriages close to Copeland's camp is pretty easy to tackle early on.

But, yeah, agree with the chaps above just continue on with the story and send any survivors you find to Cope's camp and you'll soon hit level 2 trust.

I dont think you did all the missions, sometimes it takes a while to get new ones and its pretty easy to reach level 2 without any grinding or anything.

Double flowers and meat skills are not bad btw to get early on, perhaps it had a bigger impact on trust than I felt like.

I already have double plants - meat is too expensive but animals aren't as frequent anyway. Last trip to Copeland got me about 300 trust so that's an easy grind. That did include some ears.

Animal meat and Freak trophies will give you more credit for a camp that you choose, but unfortunately, hordes trophies is the only thing will help your trust able reach to level 3 of a camp and only the weapons from Tucker camp can kill the horde. So what you should do is try your best to get Tucker camp level 3 weapons then searching for the Hordes to give the trophies to Copeland but it will take a long time

I suggest is to turn over bounties/kitchen to the camp and if ever you found/helped a survivors you can just send it straight to Copeland's camp.

Man, every event I manage to get to is an ambush.

Just discovered the complex is Sherman's Camp, unlocked with Iron Mike. My bad.

I've found travelling through the tunnel between the NERO checkpoint and Crazy Willie's reliably spawns rescue events - often to the right of the tunnel's exit by the lake shore when travelling from the NERO checkpoint.

Well, I'm at Mike's now; I'll have to try that when I get back.

Don't worry about getting to level 3 at Cope's, you get better bike upgrades somewhere else before that's necessary. Cope's was the last camp I maxed out.
