Discovery/ No Zombie Mode?

Just wanna explore the world and take photo's, is there such a mode where I can just chill or no need?

It sounds like you can eventually wipe the zombies out? Not that, that is the only threat but it's something I guess...

Put it on easy and travel around during daytime. You can clear the infestations and the hordes then just have a random couple spawn in places but nothing too bad.

There do seem to be less zombies overall but more specials after beating the game and offing the hordes so take that as you will.

Yeah, I got mobbed by 3 reachers at the same time. Immediately after staggering back to my feet after barely managing to beat them, a rager was right on top of me. I died :(

How? Assassins creed origins and others added a mode like this specifically because there was demand for it.

I mean the game even has a photo mode so it's not to out of the realms of possibility that I would want this. Game looks gorgeous too...

I highly doubt it, that would render like 90% of the games mechanics and systems useless. Why someone would want to play a zombie apocalypse game without zombies is beyond me but I can see what youre getting at. You paid for it, you play how you want to. Some sessions I would hop on just to cruise around on my bike while hunting animals and gathering plants. Taking out the hordes and infestations was so much fun though. Did you not like the combat or something?

It's not exactly what you're looking for but you can get a mod on nexus which slows the zombies down to be more like the zombies on The Walking Dead tv show.

This does make it very easy mode as they do move slow with no sprinting, so you could basically avoid them with a brisk walk lol :D

For anyone who is interested in that Walking Dead mod, there is a mod that adds on to that mod which keeps them slow but it increases their health. https://www.nexusmods.com/daysgone/mods/489

I get the feeling he doesn't want to 'play the game' like that. He just wants to explore the game world without the concern of being jumped by freakers, it is a great looking place after all.
Once he's done enough looking around, he'll revert back to a gaming mode and kill zombies.
