45 hours all the way through until the end of the story is quite quick.
Have you seen the unskipable end credits? If not, you haven't finished the game.
Even after the credits there is usually some tidying up to do. Get the last few collectables, kill off a horde, just to clear it off the map, that sort of thing.
What could have possibly taken you another 120-150 hours to complete after the story?
Simple answer for that: because of them enjoying the game.
And besides the main quest, there's still stuff to do in order to finish the game at 💯%
And after a few moths or years, people might have forgotten most of the story.
So, if being in the mood for some popcorn trash zombie movie (or game) they might a NG+.
Just for enjoyment.

I still see a lot of open Quests.
Sometimes you need to continue and finish another storyline first before you may continue with your main quest.
Did you already cross the mountains to the wastelands?

But looks like you already uncovered it.
Select one of the other quests to follow. You've got plenty of unfinished ones.
And if I recall it correctly, those story quests are dependent on each other, and you can't finish a storyline in one go.
So if you're stuck on one story quest, because no new missions appear, switch to another storyline.
After you reached a certain progress on that, new missions fo other storyline will appear
I'm pretty sure that was what happened when I played it
If you're still only at that point, you're probably only about half way through the complete game story. Each of those open quests will reach 100%. when the game has been completed. You've still got another area to go to, with all the quests from that area as well.
Maviba is right. All the main storylines are intertwined. You have to finish some quests in other storylines to get to the point in the whole story where other jobs open up, to progress that storyline, which then opens up another storyline quest.
I thought that this was a fairly common style of programming a game. The Tomb Raider games use a similar style for example.
This video helped a lot:

I like this guys walk through vidoes. He's extremely enthusiastic about the game he's playing, whatever game it is (at least all the games I've watched his videos of)
