thats pretty good not knowing anything about your pc..ie: what kind of cooler...how many fans...how much ram and what kind...name brand of pc...do you have a program to control the fans ? i have an acer predator orion 5000 i replaced the stock cooler with a Noctua NH-U12A and i added 2 fans to the upper rack, games ran 63 before and 43 after, the GPU never goes over 53, its really awesome and this game runs great on it, i use max settings on a 1080p 240hz acer predator monitor

According to Intel, T Max is 100 degrees.
I'd personally want to keep the temp' below 90. So 65 - 70 is fine.

well the only way to lower CPU temps is to add a new cooler like the Noctua NH-U12A it is amazing and fits most cases and its the one i put in mine and i love it. and if your case has room upper exhaust fans also like i said i did that too mine and all my games run 15-20 C cooler now its awesome.

No need to spend money on a cooler if it isn't getting hot though, and 65 - 70 isn't hot. If it was high 80s, getting into 90s sometimes, then it would be a good idea. Although, before spending on a new cooler, it would be better to do some thorough case housekeeping first. Clean your cooler fins, so plenty of air can get through them, re-paste your cpu/cooler mating faces, generally remove all the dust inside your case. Thermal paste costs about $1 for a tube, A new cooler, at least $100+ ?

I'm a Scot, we're renown for being 'careful' with our money :steamhappy:

Custom build pc, for me, by PCSpecialist. Lian Li D011 Evo case, AMD R7 7700x, Asus TUF Gaming X670E-Plus, 32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum aRGB DDR5 6000MHz, EVGA Geforce RTX 2070 Super. Upgrade to GPU imminent, to AMD. Gigabyte M34WQ, ultrawide monitor (3440 x 1440p, 144Hz). Corsair iCue H115i Elite Capellix AIO cooler.
I wasn't 'careful' with my money when I ordered this. On the other hand, I doubt I'll buy another computer, ever. I'll probably upgrade cpu and gpu though, as and when. So 'careful' in a way. Buy good, buy once; buy cheap, buy twice. :D
