IPCA Tech

I've seen the O'Brien ending and got that crafting recipe for that Nero-Pulse Weapon. But for some reason I'm still missing 3 from 33 IPCA Techs, which is why I still can't craft this weapon.
What I'm wondering is, do I even need this weapon for something else? Does it trigger some final battle or something? Or is it just a waste of time? Cause I've no clue where to get the last missing pieces.

In addition:

There are 2 Nero Facilities which I couldn't reach:

1.) is at Crater Lake on an island which I can't reach due to the lake water.
2.) another one is located on the eastern end of that map and is isolated by the river as "natural" barrier

Was already wondering whether I'm missing something there.

Hi, i finished the new game+ and got all 4 ending cutscenes. Now i wanted to craft the secret NERO-gun. I need 18 IPCA-techs and got 13 till now.

What i have to do with 18 techs and where can i craft the weapon? Thx!

You have to collect all 18 IPCA Tech items, 1 from each NERO site.
Once you have all 18, the special NERO Weapon is automatically added to your gun locker.
The only way I know of, to get all 18 pieces, is to visit each NERO site again. Hopefully you'll remember which sites you DIDN'T find the IPCA Tech piece from, then search all around the site until you find it.
There is a slight short cut, using the interactive map from the guides tab. I think that tells you where to look. I'll edit this post in a minute or two with the link to the map I mean.

There are limits to what you can do with the free version, which this is. You'll have to find the way to do what you want to do with it. I think if you mark everything you don't want as 'found', or whatever it is, you'll be left with all the IPCA Tech icons. If you then click on each individual icon, it'll give you an idea where to find it, in relation to the NERO site.
