The game was originally made for the ps4. Giving the controller support doesn't mean that all the exclusive features are going to work.

Though, so I ask if it can support ps5 controller cause this game is within in ps5 gifts.

the game doesnt even use adaptive triggers for the console version, why would it here? the game is NOT a ps5 title, only playable ps4 version with enhanced visuals.

I mean the game literally has settings for adaptive triggers... So I figured they had added them with the port, or just put the settings there to ♥♥♥♥ with people I guess.. Like they did in borderlands 2 adaptive triggers are there as just some kind of vestigial option and/or not ported over due to lazines
Necro'd a two year old post my dude.

The new patch/update does add Dualsense support with adaptive triggers yes. Make sure the controller is set to Dualsense in the game menu and restart the game for it to take effect.
I have exactly the same problem, the game has settings that allow you to change the settings of the dualsense controller, but in fact it does not even recognize it, and it does not matter what connection method I use

I'm glad someone else noticed this, no matter if you change sensibility of triggers it will be always either 0 or 1 and if you listen closely having the dualsense speaker on or off makes no difference as it will always reproduce some sounds when shooting
yes but my problem is that it works as a simple controller, there is no tactile feedback or sounds from the built-in speaker at all

This post is 2 years old. But im pretty sure for both features to work you need to have the controller plugged in and not use Bluetooth at all.
I really dislike the adaptive triggers, and when im trying to disable it in the settings by setting every option to 0, its still somewhat active. (Using wired ps5 controller)

So to further add to this when changing your ingame audio settings from stereo headphones or speaker to 5.1 or 3d headset it starts to "rumble" with really low intensity. And then ofcourse sounds become muffled from behind or if it's another npc speaking

Climax Studio ruined this game .... all they had to do was just add the new horde mode and not touch anything else .... it looked fine to me before the remaster ... Sony just trying to get money ...
